“Where are we going, Mom,” she said as she climbed in the car.

“You are going to look at mansions. The first one’s 15 minutes away.”

Later, Mom said, “Oh look, we’re already here.”

Maylen walked up to the mansion, saying bye to her parents.

“Welcome,” said The Innkeeper.

“The Innkeeper looks weird,” Malin thought to herself. She walks in the doors and the doors slammed behind her! And there was a wolf where the Innkeeper should have been.

Chapter one

“Did you eat the Innkeeper?” said Maylen.

“No, I am The Innkeeper.”

“Aaaaaaaaaaa! Talking wolf!” said Maylen.

“Stop!” said the wolf.

“How are you the Innkeeper and the wolf?” said Maylen.

“I’ll explain that while I show you the rest of the mansion,” said the wolf. “I’ll show you the pterodactyl, And next, to show you the three headed dog. Then the blobs, and after that, show you the mansion itself.”

Maylen and the wolf went towards the heart of the mansion. There goes by them a pterodactyl! And there’s the three-headed dogs! And here are the Blobs, the half animals and half blob!

“And now, here is the heart of the mansion. It’s where all the weirdness comes from. We need a Guardian of it and you will you be our Guardian!”
