Chapter 1

April 20, 2024, Tuesday. At the library. 5:00pm. In the room are the kids Thomas, Rose, Bob, and Thea.

“Hey!” said Tom. “I’m going to find some books.”

“Ok. I’ll go find some books too,” said Bob. “Me too!” said Rose and Thea at the same time.

Two minutes later a shout was heard, “AHHHH!”

Then a sound, POW! [A gun shot sounds]

April 21st 2024 Ace Wood Elementary School

The six best friends Amy, Ace, Luke, Jenny, Mark, and JaJa all met at schoo. “Did you guys hear about the murder yesterday?” asked Mark.

“NO!” said Jaja.

“I did,” said Jenny. “Yup,” said Ace. “I think so,” Amy said. “Yeah, unfortunately I
did,” said Luke.

“Do you guys want to come to my house?” said Ace.

“Sure!” said everyone.

“I have a tree house. So we could play!” said Ace.

“Ohhh! Should all of us start a club?” Amy said excitedly.

“Yeah, we should meet up every day after school,” said Luke.

“Ok.” replied Amy.

“What time?” asked JaJa.

“Let’s do three thirty,” said Ace. Everyone said that was OK.

April 21, 2024, Wednesday. Ace’s tree house. 3:30pm.

“So, what should we do for our club?” asked Jenny.

“You know there was a murder yesterday,” said Mark. “I sort of want to start a murder mystery club and Investigate.

“OK, THAT, SOUNDS, AWESOME!” said JaJa.

“Totally Awesome!” said Ace. “Ok ,from now on we are a murder mystery club!”

“This is going to be so much fun!” said Luke.

“We know they killed four kids at exactly at 5:00pm,” said Amy.

“I feel like there is something else…” said Mark.

“All right, let’s go!” said JaJa.

Twelve minutes later, they arrived. “Man, there are a lot of police. Let’s go in,” said Jenny.

‘‘Hold up kids. You are not allowed to go in,’’ said the Police Chief.

“Oh, my Dad is a policeman,” said Ace.

“Oh really,” said the Chief. “What is his name?”

“Mack,” replied Ace.

“I will have to go get him,” said the Chief, who then left. Two minutes later, a policeman arrived.

“Hi kids, hi, Son,” said Ace’s dad.

“Can we look inside?” asked Ace.

“Sure, just don’t bother anyone,” replied his dad.

“We won’t!” said Ace.

“Oh, there are a lot of police and spies,” said Amy.

“Yeah, they have to figure out who did it,” said Aces dad.

Woosh!

“Hey did you see that?” said JaJa.

“Yeah, I did,” said Ace.

Chapter 2

“Hey?” “Did you see that?”, Said Jaja.

“Yea, I did,” said Ace’s dad.

“Lets go to investigate,” Ace said.

“Let’s tell the Chief!” said Amy.

“Wait,” said Mack. “Lets not tell them quite yet… Ok?”

“Why did they go in the storage room?” Mark said.

“Shhh! We have to be quiet,” said Mack. Mack pulled out his gun.

Creeeeeeek.

“Where did they go?” said Mark.

“Wait, what is this?” said Ace. “It’s a button …”

“Let’s push it.” someone said.

“NOOOO!” said Ace.

[Slow motion] EEEEEE!

“Oh, it’s an elevator. Phew! Let’s go down,” said Mack. “Stay close.”

“Wow, this place is so cool,” said Mark.

“We need to tell the others,” said Mack.

“I don’t think you’re telling anyone!” said a low voice.

Five minutes later.: Bang! [The sound of a cell door closing] “HaHaHa!”

“I’m scared,” said Amy.

“Everyone, stay close,” said Mack in a whisper. “Let’s find a way out.”
