One day I chose to plant a flower. I looked into my seed drawer and all I had left were daisies. So I picked the packet of seeds up and went outside to plant it.
On my way outside I got my gardening supplies and got to work. I started by digging a hole in the dirt, then planted the seeds in the hole. Once I was done putting the seeds in the hole, I closed it up and waited for it to grow.
Then I realized I forgot to put it in a pot! So I picked up my shovel and dug around the plant and put it in the pot. Finally, it was time to water it. Then I put the pot in a place where the sun hit it perfectly, not too bright and not too dark.
A few days later I came back to it and it had started to sprout. It had beautiful tiny green leaves and had a beautiful healthy stem. Every day, I kept on watering it, and every day it would grow more and more.
A month later it was fully grown and healthy. I loved the white petals and loved the smell of it. I always saw bees hovering around it and getting nectar from it.
The next day I saw some of its petals on the ground. I wondered why they were falling. I got a closer look and it turns out there were bites on every leaf that fell. I wondered what insect or animal would bite it. I started to research what things would bite daisies. I searched every day and I couldn’t figure out what it was, and every day more petals were gone.
I started to watch the plant twenty-four-seven. Finally after one week, I learned what it was. All this time it was my pet bunny! Sadly, it was too late. It was on its last petal.
I sat there watching as the last petal fell. Once it had fallen, I picked the petal up and kept it as a memory. It was the last seed I had in my drawer and I wish it had stayed alive longer than it did.
Sadly, it died on November 21, of 2024. It had lasted about 5 months before it died. Since then, daisies have been my favorite flower to plant because most of the time, they last a long time.
And if your or my friends were to come to my house, you would see the daisy petals on the wall. Also, since then I have not let my bunny outside when I have daisies around!
